Join Joshua North, Director of Financial Aid at Highland Community College, via Zoom as he explains the ins and outs of Return to Title IV.

About Joshua North
Joshua North is the current Director of Financial Aid at Highland Community College for the last four years and has been in the financial aid world for thirteen years in different capacities. Since COVID-19 has started, he has been working from home and enjoying time with his family, which includes his wife, two boys, two cats and a dachshund. In his spare time, Josh enjoys copious amounts of board games. The one thing that Josh will miss the most from the COVID-19 experience is not driving every day to work and the extra family time that he got from it.

- Recognize the general requirements for the return of Title IV funds
- Differentiate between when R2T4 requirements do and do not apply
- Define when a student is considered to have withdrawn from different types of academic programs
- Identify how schools determine the withdrawal date depending upon if they are required to take attendance
- Determine how withdrawals are handled in programs offered in modules
- Recognize and define the steps of the return to Title IV funds formula when disbursed aid exceeds earned aid
- Identify the steps of the return to Title IV funds formula when earned aid exceeds disbursed aid
